Hello! I am Sam (he/him)
I am a Clinical Social Work Intern from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Social Work. I am doing my final intership and is finishing my MSW degree with a concentration in Behavioral Health.
My View
I believes that each client has the expertise and intuition about their own lives to create meaningful change. Therapists provide the needed support and guidance to then allow the client to tap into their inner strength and become the architect of a better life. I believes that small steps, consistency, and a mindset of continuous improvement are essential elements for personal growth.

I have a background in competitive athletics and Exercise Science, which shapes my views on overall wellness. I am a firm believer in the transformative power of physical activity, I sees exercise as foundational to any mental health improvement effort. Caring for one’s physical body creates good habits and puts the individual into an optimal position to engage in the challenging mental/emotional work that lies ahead.
Trainings and Therapy Approach
I follow eclectic approach tailored to client needs. My approach includes elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), collaborative problem solving, and solution focused brief therapy (SFBT).
